It’s been a long time since we got a new, completely original Spyro game, even longer if you don’t include the two Skylanders Spyro games that, interestingly, were originally planned and marketed as the Grimdark reboot of the original series. The last time we saw the cute little purple dragon was in 2018 with the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, itself a collection of remasters of the first three Spyro games. “… and a little hint about Spyro.” # Spyro4 #SpyroTheDragon Images provided by /1vLYh9uKzkDecember 7, 2020 The first official notice for “Spyro 4” has arrived! The # Crash4: It’s Time Art Book has a quote confirming the hint. After Croes detailed the scene from concept art, he notices that it is “a little hint about Spyro” there. Well, that on its own could be nothing more than an Easter egg, but a quote from Crash 4 concept artist Brun Croes apparently confirms this is actually a subtle nod to Spyro 4. In the pictures you can see Spyro hanging out under some flying cars in the concept art of Crash Bandicoot 4. The tiny hint of Spyro the Dragon’s future was spotted by SpyroUniverse on Twitter using images from the artbook courtesy of CrashyNews. The first official Spyro 4 teaser was apparently found in an art book for Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time.
